What to wear, how to arrive, photos to bring, extensions, guests, and how to get the most from your Effortless trial.
The goal of a bridal trial run is, with our help, to figure out and execute your dream wedding day hair and makeup. Here are questions, guidelines, and tips to get the most out of your Effortless trial.
Arrive with your usual full face of makeup on. This lets our team get a feel for your usual look and preferred style.
Please arrive with clean, blow-dried hair. The myth that dirty hair is better for styling is almost entirely false. If needed, our stylists can add product for grit or texture.
Do your homework and come with inspiration photos — ideally chosen for their resemblance to your own hair type, coloring, facial features, and eye color.
Consult with our team ahead of time to determine whether you should purchase hair extensions for your desired look.
Bring your veil and any hair accessories to your trial if you plan on using them on the wedding day.
The maximum number of guests permitted to accompany you is two. Attending alone or with only those closest to you is the best path to a stress-free appointment.
Wear a shirt that is white, cream, or your wedding dress color. This shows how your makeup will look against your dress.
We will never be offended if you ask us to adjust. Our job is to work with your feedback.
The vast majority of brides we work with see a trial as the best way to take the guesswork out of the final look.
Anywhere from two months to two weeks before your wedding day. That window lets us get to know your face and still have time for adjustments.
